Passport or OCI card of the deceased, birth and, if applicable, marriage certificate. That is all we need to start.
Do not sign in a hurry
You are not bound to any funeral home, even if one is already involved.

FAQ
Questions about repatriation to India
Your question is not listed?
Call us or message us on WhatsApp. We also answer at weekends.
How long does repatriation to India take?
It mainly depends on how quickly the registry office and the Indian mission issue the documents and when freight space is available. After the first call we give you a realistic timeline.
What is the NOC from the Indian Embassy?
The No Objection Certificate confirms that the Indian mission has no objection to the repatriation. Airlines and authorities in India require it. We apply for it at the responsible embassy or consulate.
What is eCARe?
eCARe is the Government of India's online portal for health clearance of human remains arriving in India. Documents are submitted electronically in advance.
Does the deceased have to be embalmed?
For repatriation in a coffin, yes. India requires an embalming certificate and a hermetically sealed coffin. Neither applies to an urn.
Can relatives carry the urn themselves?
Many airlines allow it, but rules differ. We check with the airline in advance which certificates and which urn are required.
Can a relative travel on the same flight?
Yes. Relatives can travel on the same flight and receive the deceased at the destination airport. We coordinate the flight accordingly.
Is the consultation free?
Yes. Advice, checking the requirements and the written quote are free and without obligation.
Another funeral home is already involved. Can you still help?
Yes. We can take over the repatriation or work together with the local funeral home. Please talk to us before signing anything.
Are you a funeral home?
We handle repatriations to and from India for funeral homes, with a fixed contact and, if you wish, under your name towards the family.
